2 DAYS CONGO GORILLA ADVENTURE
Day 1: Kigali – Goma
Depart Kigali and drive to the Rwanda/DRC border at Grand Bariere. After crossing, enter Goma and check in to your hotel. You can take an optional city tour of Goma and its surroundings, including visits to the Green and Black Lakes formed by volcanic eruptions.
Overnight: Shu Shu Guest House
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking – Kigali
After breakfast, drive to Parc National des Virunga for a life-changing gorilla trekking experience. Spend an hour with the mountain gorillas before returning to Goma for lunch. In the afternoon, head back to the border and return to Kigali.
2 DAYS NYIRAGONGO EXPRESS
Day 1: Kigali – Nyiragongo Volcano
Depart at 04:00 AM from Kigali to the Rwanda/DRC border at Grand Bariere. After crossing, drive to Kibati and start the trek to the Nyiragongo Crater. The hike takes you through lush forests and lava fields, ending at the crater rim. Spend the night in the Crater Bandas with stunning views of the active lava lake.
Overnight: Crater Bandas
Day 2: Descend – Kigali
Admire the hot lava lake at sunrise before descending the volcano. After reaching the foothills, head back to Goma for lunch and, time permitting, take a city tour of Goma. Then cross back into Rwanda and drive to Kigali.

Day 1: Kigali – Goma
Drive from Kigali to the border and enter Goma. Enjoy an afternoon city tour of Goma, including visits to the Green and Black Lakes.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
After breakfast, head to Parc National des Virunga for gorilla trekking. Spend an hour with the gorillas before returning to your hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, optional visit to a local King or interact with the community.

Day 3: Volcano Hike
Drive to Kibati and begin the hike to Nyiragongo Volcano. Overnight at Crater Bandas, with incredible views of the lava lake.

Day 4: Volcano Descend
After breakfast, descend the volcano and visit Goma. In the afternoon, head back to the border and return to Kigali.
5 NIGHTS MOUNTAIN GORILLAS, NYIRAGONGO HIKE, IDJWI ISLAND VISIT & LOWLAND GORILLAS
Day 1: Kigali – Goma
Drive from Kigali to Goma, and enjoy a city tour.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
Go gorilla trekking in Parc National des Virunga. Spend an hour with the mountain gorillas, then visit a local King or interact with the community.

Day 3: Volcano Hike
Hike to Nyiragongo Volcano and stay at Crater Bandas.

Day 4: Idjwi Island Visit
After descending the volcano, drive to the shores of Lake Kivu, take a speedboat to Idjwi Island, and meet the King of the Island. Witness traditional practices like black magic and witchcraft.

Day 5: Bukavu and Lowland Gorillas
After a city tour, head to Kahuzi Biega National Park for lowland gorilla trekking.
Overnight: Panorama Hotel
Day 6: Bukavu – Kigali
Drive back to Rwanda and return to Kigali.

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer
Upon arrival in Kigali, cross the border into the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
Gorilla trekking in Parc National des Virunga, followed by lunch and relaxation at the hotel.

Day 3: Mount Nyiragongo Hike

Day 9: Canopy Walk and Transfer to Kigali
Experience the forest from above on the canopy walk, then drive back to Kigali.

Day 10: Transfer to Airport
Drive to the airport for your return flight.

Drive to Kahuzi Biega National Park for gorilla trekking. Return to the hotel afterward.

Day 3: Transfer to Airport
Drive back to Kamembe for your flight to Kigali.
